The clothing brand Kronstadt contacted Ragna concerning the production of a summer and fall campaign. Corona happened, they were insanely busy, needing no small amount of product films, a graphic rebranding package, still photographs as well as a new concept and production of new branding films. Kronstadt had already chosen the face of the campaign: the retired table tennis player Michael Maze. Based on the chose of model, we developed the new concept:
Since Michael Maze is not an experienced model, we needed to add a layer of metafiction to the film to make sure that the model was not uncomfortable, when being faced by an entire camera squad. We broke down the naturally forced and shot him while shot (i. e. essentially taking advantage of an already arranged a possibly rigid arrangement.) Because Michael Maze is taking part in a photoshoot, the viewer gets the context and the model is secure, posing away, and being led by our photographer.
